A Perfect Smile Orthodontics in McAllen, Texas, offers Invisalign Teen — the clear path to a confident smile!
Your teen’s smile is their signature. As they navigate through some of the most important years of their lives, having a confident, radiant smile can make all the difference. With Invisalign Teen, your child can straighten their teeth without the hassle and discomfort of traditional metal braces.
Why Choose Invisalign Teen?
Invisalign Teen is more than just a set of clear aligners—it’s a lifestyle-friendly solution for your teenager’s orthodontic needs. Here’s why more teens and parents are choosing Invisalign Teen over traditional braces:
1. Virtually Invisible Aligners
Let’s face it: traditional braces can be a source of anxiety for many teens. With Invisalign Teen, the clear aligners are practically invisible, allowing your teen to smile confidently throughout treatment. They can continue to enjoy social activities, school events, and everyday interactions without feeling self-conscious about their appearance.
2. Comfortable and Convenient
Invisalign Teen aligners are made from smooth, BPA-free plastic, making them more comfortable than metal braces with wires and brackets. There’s no need to worry about mouth sores or irritation. Plus, because the aligners are removable, your teen can take them out for meals, brushing, and flossing—making it easier to maintain good oral hygiene and avoid food restrictions.
3. Designed for Growing Smiles
Invisalign Teen is specially crafted to accommodate the unique needs of teenagers, including the fact that their mouths are still growing. The aligners can include eruption tabs to guide the proper growth of new teeth, ensuring your teen’s smile develops as it should.
4. Fewer Office Visits
We know how busy life can be for teens and their parents. With Invisalign Teen, there are usually fewer orthodontic appointments than with traditional braces. Since there are no wires to adjust, most check-ups occur every 6 to 8 weeks.
5. Blue Compliance Indicators
Wearing aligners consistently is key to achieving the desired results. Invisalign Teen aligners come with blue compliance indicators that fade over time, helping you and your orthodontist monitor your teen’s wear time. This feature ensures your teen stays on track with their treatment plan.
6. Freedom for Sports and Activities
Whether your teen is an athlete, a musician, or involved in other extracurricular activities, Invisalign fits seamlessly into their lifestyle. They can remove the aligners during sports games or practice, reducing the risk of injury from wires or brackets. And there’s no need to worry about damaged braces—just pop the aligners back in afterward!
6. Boosted Confidence
The teenage years are all about self-expression and building self-esteem. Invisalign helps your child achieve the smile of their dreams without the embarrassment of metal braces. A confident smile can enhance your teen’s well-being, improving social experiences and academic performance.
What is the Invisalign Teen Process?
At A Perfect Smile Orthodontics, we want your teen to be comfortable and have fun while we straighten their teeth. That’s why we recommend Invisalign Teen when it’s the right choice for your child: It’s all about comfort, ease of use, and quality results!
Don’t believe how simple it can be? This is the process:
- We take a mold of the patient’s teeth so that we can custom-shape the Invisalign aligners. And we don’t take those old, goopy impressions: We use an advanced 3D Digital scanner to take a super-accurate impression of your teen’s mouth.
- The patient will then wear the aligners until the next consultation appointment.
- We replace the patient’s aligners with an adjusted pair to further teeth movement. The patient then wears the aligners until the next appointment.
- The patient repeats Step 2 until the teeth are in the correct alignment.
